The goal of this restoration and addition was to revive, modernize, and create a function-forward home for a busy family to retreat to on the 10-acre property, just a mile from Downtown Cedarburg. Appliances are hidden to offer a clean and furniture-like feel to the open-concept kitchen. Original light fixtures from the original farmhouse were meticulously restored, rewired, and strategically placed throughout the new addition to infuse historic charm. Leveraging the historical significance of the property, all selections were tastefully made to enhance the breathtaking views on all sides of the home.
